BOXABL (NASDAQ: BXBL), a factory-built construction company, unveiled its Server Pod concept, a design study for modular, factory-assembled enclosures intended to house AI and cloud computing infrastructure. The company emphasized that the Server Pod is a concept only and is not currently being manufactured, with the initiative intended to demonstrate BOXABL’s factory capabilities and invite data center developers, operators and equipment vendors to pursue custom design and manufacturing partnerships. Concept configurations range from a 10-foot Server Pod envisioned at a 0.5 petaflop tier to the 2,500-square-foot Server Tron envisioned at 16 petaflop operations per second, with actual configurations, engineering, cooling approaches and equipment to be determined with customers.
BOXABL said it believes factory-built, repeatable structures could help address speed, cost and labor challenges facing the data center industry. Citing JLL’s 2026 Global Data Center Market Outlook, the company noted that the sector is expected to grow at a 14% compound annual growth rate through 2030, with roughly 100 GW of new capacity coming online from 2026 through 2030 and up to $3 trillion in total investment potentially required. BOXABL is seeking engagement with data center developers, hyperscalers, colocation providers, equipment manufacturers and other partners interested in contracting the company to design and manufacture custom modular structures, while noting there is no assurance that any agreement will be reached or any Server Pod or similar product will be built.
